Welcome new team members! We’re now up to 103 members – including 41 riders, 53 virtual riders, and 9 volunteers & we’ve raised $26,260 so far! Thank you for all of your hard work!
WEDNESDAY TRAINING RIDES
We have training rides Wednesday evenings beginning at the OSU Foundation office at 1480 West Lane Avenue (weather permitting). Please arrive by 6:15 p.m. and we will roll out by 6:30. Distances up to 20 miles will be offered. Please E-mail or call Roland Kreml at kreml.1@osu.edu or 247-4545 by the end of the day Wednesday if you plan to attend so we can wait for you.
SATURDAY TRAINING RIDE - Saturday, July 23 at 8:30 a.m. – Hilliard/Dublin – We will meet at Homestead Park, 4675 Cosgray Rd, Hilliard 43026. Varying ride distances up to 35 miles will be offered. NEW RIDERS – we can start with 5 or 10 miles or go as long as you want. E-mail or call Lindsey by the end of the day Friday, July 22 at lindsey.gale@osumc.edu or 247-1533 if you plan to ride so we can wait for you.
RIDERS – IMPORTANT - PELOTONIA RIDER SAFETY ORIENTATION SESSIONS! - Please see the attached flyer for information & plan to attend one of the sessions on either July 20 or July 27!
FUNDRAISING!! - There are only 31 days left until we ride! Please make sure your profile pages are updated, send your personal e-solicitations, and execute your other fundraising efforts ASAP! While the fundraising timeline goes through October 21, it’s much easier to secure funds prior to the ride. If you need any tips or ideas, please contact Lindsey at lindsey.gale@osumc.edu or 247-1533.
VIRTUAL RIDERS – If you raise $500 you will receive a special gift from Pelotonia, if you raise $650 you’ll also get a Team Buckeye jersey, and if you raise $1,200 you and a guest will be invited to the Pelotonia opening ceremony on Friday, August 19! You won’t want to miss it! Thank you for all of your efforts to help fundraise for our peloton!

Tuesday, 8/9, 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. – OUR Advancement Peloton Celebration & Fundraiser at Longaberger Alumni House! YOUR FRIENDS, COLLEAGUES, AND FAMILY ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND THIS EVENT – please spread the word!
Archie will be signing autographs and many great auction items will be available including football tickets (OSU & Browns), Clippers tickets, autographed memorabilia, Wexner items, gift cards, hotel stays, & many other great items. Thank you to Sabrina Ragan and the Annual Giving team who are going to solicit many local businesses for items.
