Welcome new team members! We’re now up to 98 members – including 38 riders, 51 virtual riders, and 9 volunteers & we’ve raised $24,070 so far! Huge thanks for all you are doing!

RIDER RECRUITMENT REGISTRATION FEE OFFER EXTENSTION – Jeff Kaplan has extended his registration fee offer until the end of the day Monday, 7/18! He will cover ½ of the $100 registration fee for any riders in his areas who register through 7/18…if we get 13 or more additional riders from his area, he will cover the full $100 fee! TO EVERYONE – the rider registration fee goes up to $150 next Tuesday, so we encourage each of you to PLEASE try to recruit ONE more rider in the next few days!

SATURDAY TRAINING RIDE REMINDER - Saturday, July 16 at 9:00 a.m. – Westerville, Hoover Dam Park 4100 Central College Road, Westerville, OH 43081. Enter the park from Central College (there is a picnic shelter at the entrance), when you get to the stop sign turn right, go up the hill, and park in the first lot you come to on your left.

Varying ride distances up to 30 miles will be offered. NEW RIDERS – we can start with 5 or 10 miles or go as long as you want. E-mail or call Lindsey by the end of the day Friday, July 15 at lindsey.gale@osumc.edu or 247-1533 if you plan to ride so we can wait for you.

RIDERS - PELOTONIA RIDER SAFETY ORIENTATION SESSIONS - Please see the attached flyer for session information & plan to attend one of the sessions on either July 20 or July 27!

FUNDRAISING!! There are only 35 days left until we ride! Please make sure your profile pages are updated, send your personal e-solicitations, and execute your other fundraising efforts ASAP! While the fundraising timeline goes through October 22, it’s much easier to secure funds prior to the ride. Tuesday, 8/9, 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. – OUR Advancement Peloton Celebration & Fundraiser at Longaberger Alumni House! YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND THIS EVENT – please spread the word! Archie will be signing autographs and many great raffle items will be available including football tickets (OSU & Browns), Clippers tickets, hotel stays, Wexner items, gift cards & many other AWESOME items. Thank you to Sabrina Ragan and the Annual Giving team who are going to solicit around 500 local businesses for us! YOUR WHY I RIDE STORIES NEEDED! We need to share our stories about why Pelotonia is so important to us! Please e-mail your stories to Jeff Grabmeier at grabmeier.1@osu.edu. These stories will be featured in upcoming e-newsletters and other efforts.
